Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which gives adults an opportunity to offer their support to the young people in their lives. While everyone can use a little more kindness and understanding, it’s often difficult to think of simple ways to show it. One of the best is to show that you are there, always, for the youth in your life.

It’s extremely important to be consistent when living with, working with, or just being around young people. They need to know that we’ve “got their back” when feelings of uncertainty and doubt creep in. . . and, for adolescents, that happens all the time!
